What Once Was Mine Mini Kit

I have wanted a Tangled kit since the movie came out. Leave it to Natalie to make the most amazing papers, ribbons, flowers with the cutest elements! I love how she always incorporates textures with a touch of bling. Take a look.

There will probably be a huge line unless you get to the first or last session but I HIGHLY recommend attending the Rapunzel and Flynn Meet and Greet at Disney World's Magic Kingdom. The kids are given a box of crayons and a coloring sheet as the gather around a huge table. My girls were shocked when Rapunzel came up behind them, took their hands and started to dance. What fun!

This is Natalie's template. When I first saw Tangled, the movie, I was memorized by Rapunzel's dress. I was thrilled to see Natalie captured the layers of textures from her dress so beautifully.

As always, my incredibly talented Creative Team-mates made some beautiful freebies. Here are the links:

Of course, stop by Natalie's blog to pick up the kit and the adorable freebie she also created - Natalie's Little Corner of the World.

The characters are obviously not my creation but, only, for ease of download they are all together.

Not So Spooky!

Just in time for Halloween and all of the pumpkin patch pics, Natalie released another of her fabulous Halloween kits. This one is has the more subtle, muted oranges, purples and greens. LOVE IT! In my opinion, the water color kits really let the pictures stand out on the pages. Take a look.

Love everything about this kit, especially the 3 glitter papers, the fantastic alpha and all the adorable pumpkins! I used this weeks template available on MouseScrappers, weekly challenge #87.

This is my little punkin wunkin at a Life is Good festival back at the Boston Common in October 2006. Every pumpkin someone brought, $1 was donated by an anonymous donor to Camp Sunshine. I have never seen so many pumpkins in all my life! The background picture was of pumpkins on rafters that seemed a mile high. Fun day!

As always we all have made freebies for ya. Keep checking back with Cynthia's blog, she is on a special weekend getaway but here are the links:

No Strings Attached Mini Kit and Add-On

Natalie has re-released one of my favorite kits, No Strings Attached mini kit with a special add-on.

Here is the Add-On:

Now, I will tell you at Pinocchio's meet and greet, this playful puppet was nothing short of a gentleman. When I got home and started going back over the pictures, I had a major LOL (Laugh Out Loud)! One could say this was Bianca's first kiss but I will discredit any rumors but sure makes ya wonder!

The talented ladies on our Creative Team have made some fantastic freebies with you in mind. Here are the links:

Be sure to stop by Natalie's for the kit and/or add-on. She also has some great frames for you.

Scream!

Inspired by Monsters Inc, Natalie has released a new mini kit worth Screaming about!

So stinkin' cute! I have to say I was truly memorized by the amazing textures animated by the talented Pixar artist in the movie, Monsters Inc. Natalie, once again, has used her own talent to transfer these textures into the papers and elements in this new mini kit. My favorite is Sulley's fur which Natalie brilliantly was able to create a paper. I used a template by Lynette Penacho, Sweet Shoppe Designs.

As always, I love to share the clipart with all of you because I know how hard they are to find!

Fun With Blox!

Who doesn't LOVE Legos? Natalie has created a kit, inspired by these small blocks, we all love to imagine, build and create with. I don't know how she does it but in this kit you too can create your very own virtual Lego masterpiece! Natalie has included not just the blocks, papers, frames and a border but you can also create your own virtual flower arrangement. Too cool! Check out the preview.

I had way too much fun creating this layout. I pretended it was a virtual 12x12 area I could simply play with Legos. This is what I came up with.

Here is the Word Art I created for the layout.

Fly!

Natalie released the next kit, Fly! is her series of mini kits. Inspired by our favorite flying elephant, this jumbo mini kit has 8 papers, an alpha, a train, and a slew of elements and ribbons including an adorable little mouse and mini pachyderm.

The line has always been super long to ride Dumbo at the Magic Kingdom. My girls have the patience of a gnat and, frankly, waiting in line for over 30 minutes will make me loose some of that Disney magic. So, we have yet to fly high in the sky with Dumbo. Natalie's kits are so versatile. The circus tent made me think of the girl's favorite clown. Even though Jojo and Goliath are no longer on television or the parks, we did have fun meeting them a while ago. I used Linda's (MJAJ Designs) freebie template #3 available on her blog.

Here is a freebie I created:

My Pal mini Kit from Natalie's Place Designs

The fourth of Natalie's mini kit collection, My Pal, was released today. Inspired by our favorite mouse, Mickey. The colors are as bright and cheerful just as the Big Cheese himself. Drum roll please ...

Back in March, my girls and I went to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the day. Low and behold it was ESPN weekend! There were athletes, mascots and sea of football jerseys flowed down Hollywood Boulevard. So, after visiting Lightning McQueen and Mater my little one sees the half court basketball with several six feet plus guys shooting baskets. She hops out of the stroller, runs over, steals a ball from one of them and goes in for the lay up. The little pip squeak has never touched a basketball or watched a game before in her life! We all just stood there with our mouths open. One of the guys monitoring the court takes Sophia aside, so she wouldn't get trampled by the big kids and brings out a net. He hands her a mini basketball and holds it at Sophia's level. The child slam dunks it! The girl has got some moxie. Geeh, I wonder where she gets it from...

I will post referee Mickey when I finish tweaking him. This is Brit's template from a MouseScrappers template challenge.

Here is another layout I did with Natalie's My Pal mini kit. We met the Rusteez Girls during Epcot's Pixar weekend in May. I used Linda's template #39 available for free on her blog.

You can right click and save the clipart I used on my layout -

You can purchase the My Pal mini kit at Natalie's blog. Be sure to stop by Cynthia, Linda and Lisa's blogs for some fabulous freebies! Thanks for stopping by.

It was my absolute pleasure to meet such wonderful Ladies from MouseScrappers yesterday at Animal Kingdom! I LOVED going on all the rides. Finally! (Since my girls are not over 44 inches yet, we can't go on Expedition Everest or some of the other rides.) THANK YOU Lisa, Julie, Carol, Helen, Charlene, Melinda, and JoAnn for such a fun day!! I hope you all are having the best day ever in Epcot today.

Colors of the Wind by Natalie's Place Designs

Natalie has a slew of (not so) mini kits in the works. Here is the next one, Colors of the Wind, inspired by our favorite Disney Native American Princess.I have to say, the textures and colors Natalie has created are stunning! Gorgeous rich, fall colors with a beautiful turquoise alpha. Take a look!

Pocahontas can be found in Disney's Animal Kingdom at the Conservation Station for a meet and greet. Here is a layout I did with Natalie's Ray of Light template. I LOVE the leather textures Natalie incorporated in this kit. The turquoise (like the gemstone) paper I used for the rays is amazing.

Here is the wallpaper I used for Grandmother Willow in the background.

As always, I love giving freebies! Here ya go.

Lovin' Those Curves! Volume 2 Templates

I am Lovin' the new templates Natalie now has available - Lovin' Those Curves Templates Vol 2. Here is a preview:

Aren't they awesome?! They would make fantastic covers. I am still working on the photobook from our first cruise so I have DCL on the brain. The circular template just reminds me of looking out at the sea through the portholes on the Disney Magic. Here is the layout I did of our character breakfast on-board at the Parrot Cay restaurant. I used Natalie's Jungle Party kit.

A dear friend of mine just went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) over the weekend with her family, had a blast. We went last year just before our cruise. I just can't get over we are already in September! The next layout is of us after a trip through Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and the Pirate League all in preparation for that night's MNSSHP. I used Natalie's Boo To You kit. A MUST have for any and all of your Halloween layouts. In case you are wondering, my older daughter thought we were all crazy and didn't fully understand why we were getting in costume.

I made a freebie for ya. There is a 2010 and 2011 MNSSHP word art. I hope you get a chance to go to the party this year. My favorite was meeting all 7 dwarfs! The parade and fireworks are truly spectacular.

Silly Ole Bear Released

Natalie's Place Designs released a Pooh-licious mini kit today. One of many in a series of mini kits Natalie has lined up. I love the honey alpha, over 8 pages, and as always a slew buttons, ribbons, bees and honey pots. This kit is definitely Pooh sized!

My girls are slowly becoming next generation Pooh fans. What's not to love?! We were all really excited to see such an amazing garden the talented and creative Disney Gardeners assembled during the Epcot's Flower and Garden Show this past spring.

As always, I love sharing the clipart from my layouts. Enjoy!

I do Believe Natalie has a New Release

Themed around our favorite fairy, Natalie has released a new "mini" kit but I will tell you it is not pixie sized. Eight papers, an alpha and, as always, a slew of elements, ribbons and flowers are included in Natalie's Place Designs Believe mini kit. I just love the pink, green and turquoise color palette. The stained glass dragonfly is stunning.

I have been anxious to do a layout with these photos of the girls with Tinkerbell and Terrance. The girls got their faces painted next to Pixie Hollow during Epcot's Flower and Garden festival. We had a great time exploring all the nooks and crannies in the Pixie Hollow - Fairy Garden. The Disney Master Gardeners have put in so many tiny details. It was a nice surprise when we discovered Tink and Terrance were available for a meet and greet (cause looking at the park map makes to much sense). Tink was in such a playful mood! She grabbed the girls, sat them down and asked them all about their day and wondered how Iridessa was able to paint such beautiful rainbow designs on their faces. If you were in line behind us that day - Sorry! Tink sure is one curious fairy.

Be sure to stop by Cynthia, Linda and Lisa's blogs to pick up some freebies. Natalie has a beautiful frame for you as well. Thank you for stopping by and spending part of your day with me!

Ray of Light Templates by Natalie

WOW! Time flies. Natalie has been super busy creating a FANTASTIC slew of mini-kits and templates all while in the midst of school starting and a pesky hurricane. I know, I am with you. I have no idea either. The first to be released is the Ray of Light Templates, Volume 1. I love that you can integrate any paper into the rays!

Here are a couple of layouts I did with these fantastic templates:

Yep, still working on our first cruise photobook. I used all of Natalie's products for these layouts.

Highly recommend, when you have a child that doesn't have a shy bone in his/her body, to bring a blow-up microphone to Disney's Hollywood Studios (available at a party supply store). NEVER a dull moment!

I hope you all are having a wonderful, safe Labor Day weekend! Stay tuned because there is MUCH more to come.

Bountiful Harvest Bundle Now Available!

I have been SO anxious for you to see this kit Natalie designed. AMAZING!

Inspired by The Land pavilion at Epcot, my favorite, Natalie created a HUGE kit that includes 21 papers, 2 alphas and more than 75 elements. She also made adorable burlap scraps. (I bet you didn't know burlap could be adorable but I will show you in a minute. You might even say Ahhh.) The burlap pieces would be a great accent, not just on gardening and farm layouts but also on Bongos Cuban Cafe layouts, African (safari) and any coffee themed layouts.

I would highly recommend you release your inner gardener and buy the bundle.

As I said in my last post, The Land pavilion in Epcot is just one of my favorite places to explore, learning new gardening techniques and discovering new plant species. I never get tired of seeing what is growing in Disney's Master Gardner's greenhouses. I always take a sleu of pictures while on the Living with the Land ride. So, using Yzerbear designed Template I made this layout.

I had way too much fun with this layout. Lot of detailed work but I had fun playing virtual farmer! Now, I have to let you in a little secret. Natalie draws, colors, highlight, and shadows her own clipart - all from scratch. Yes folks, she is THAT talented! I have been practicing for a while and I have tried my hand at farmer Mickey there in the layout. I did "a Natalie". Yeah! Ok, I know, not her echelon but I do hope you like it. I incorporated the denim paper (Mickey's jeans) and plaid paper (his shirt) included in this kit. I used the burlap pieces for his hat.

Two weeks ago, two little smooth talkers convinced me we NEEDED to go to Disney's Animal Kingdom to celebrate my older daughter's graduation from pre-k. (Wow! Disney has some marketing team!) So, the girls and I went to Animal Kingdom for the day, having probably the best time we ever had. Our first stop was Camp Minnie-Mickey, saw Thumper and Miss Bunny (can you believe) all by themselves. We hopped on over.

Yep, did another "Natalie"! The Thumper and Miss Bunny clipart was fun to do. The sunflower alpha here is included in the Bountiful Harvest kit. In case you didn't notice, I thought thumper needed a sunflower pillow and burlap "blanky". Ahhh!

Of course Natalie, Cynthia, Lisa and Linda have all made some super cute freebies just for you. Please stop by there blogs to get them.
