My Pal mini Kit from Natalie's Place Designs

The fourth of Natalie's mini kit collection, My Pal, was released today. Inspired by our favorite mouse, Mickey. The colors are as bright and cheerful just as the Big Cheese himself. Drum roll please ...

Back in March, my girls and I went to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the day. Low and behold it was ESPN weekend! There were athletes, mascots and sea of football jerseys flowed down Hollywood Boulevard. So, after visiting Lightning McQueen and Mater my little one sees the half court basketball with several six feet plus guys shooting baskets. She hops out of the stroller, runs over, steals a ball from one of them and goes in for the lay up. The little pip squeak has never touched a basketball or watched a game before in her life! We all just stood there with our mouths open. One of the guys monitoring the court takes Sophia aside, so she wouldn't get trampled by the big kids and brings out a net. He hands her a mini basketball and holds it at Sophia's level. The child slam dunks it! The girl has got some moxie. Geeh, I wonder where she gets it from...

I will post referee Mickey when I finish tweaking him. This is Brit's template from a MouseScrappers template challenge.

Here is another layout I did with Natalie's My Pal mini kit. We met the Rusteez Girls during Epcot's Pixar weekend in May. I used Linda's template #39 available for free on her blog.

You can right click and save the clipart I used on my layout -

You can purchase the My Pal mini kit at Natalie's blog. Be sure to stop by Cynthia, Linda and Lisa's blogs for some fabulous freebies! Thanks for stopping by.

It was my absolute pleasure to meet such wonderful Ladies from MouseScrappers yesterday at Animal Kingdom! I LOVED going on all the rides. Finally! (Since my girls are not over 44 inches yet, we can't go on Expedition Everest or some of the other rides.) THANK YOU Lisa, Julie, Carol, Helen, Charlene, Melinda, and JoAnn for such a fun day!! I hope you all are having the best day ever in Epcot today.

Colors of the Wind by Natalie's Place Designs

Natalie has a slew of (not so) mini kits in the works. Here is the next one, Colors of the Wind, inspired by our favorite Disney Native American Princess.I have to say, the textures and colors Natalie has created are stunning! Gorgeous rich, fall colors with a beautiful turquoise alpha. Take a look!

Pocahontas can be found in Disney's Animal Kingdom at the Conservation Station for a meet and greet. Here is a layout I did with Natalie's Ray of Light template. I LOVE the leather textures Natalie incorporated in this kit. The turquoise (like the gemstone) paper I used for the rays is amazing.

Here is the wallpaper I used for Grandmother Willow in the background.

As always, I love giving freebies! Here ya go.

Lovin' Those Curves! Volume 2 Templates

I am Lovin' the new templates Natalie now has available - Lovin' Those Curves Templates Vol 2. Here is a preview:

Aren't they awesome?! They would make fantastic covers. I am still working on the photobook from our first cruise so I have DCL on the brain. The circular template just reminds me of looking out at the sea through the portholes on the Disney Magic. Here is the layout I did of our character breakfast on-board at the Parrot Cay restaurant. I used Natalie's Jungle Party kit.

A dear friend of mine just went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) over the weekend with her family, had a blast. We went last year just before our cruise. I just can't get over we are already in September! The next layout is of us after a trip through Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and the Pirate League all in preparation for that night's MNSSHP. I used Natalie's Boo To You kit. A MUST have for any and all of your Halloween layouts. In case you are wondering, my older daughter thought we were all crazy and didn't fully understand why we were getting in costume.

I made a freebie for ya. There is a 2010 and 2011 MNSSHP word art. I hope you get a chance to go to the party this year. My favorite was meeting all 7 dwarfs! The parade and fireworks are truly spectacular.

Silly Ole Bear Released

Natalie's Place Designs released a Pooh-licious mini kit today. One of many in a series of mini kits Natalie has lined up. I love the honey alpha, over 8 pages, and as always a slew buttons, ribbons, bees and honey pots. This kit is definitely Pooh sized!

My girls are slowly becoming next generation Pooh fans. What's not to love?! We were all really excited to see such an amazing garden the talented and creative Disney Gardeners assembled during the Epcot's Flower and Garden Show this past spring.

As always, I love sharing the clipart from my layouts. Enjoy!

I do Believe Natalie has a New Release

Themed around our favorite fairy, Natalie has released a new "mini" kit but I will tell you it is not pixie sized. Eight papers, an alpha and, as always, a slew of elements, ribbons and flowers are included in Natalie's Place Designs Believe mini kit. I just love the pink, green and turquoise color palette. The stained glass dragonfly is stunning.

I have been anxious to do a layout with these photos of the girls with Tinkerbell and Terrance. The girls got their faces painted next to Pixie Hollow during Epcot's Flower and Garden festival. We had a great time exploring all the nooks and crannies in the Pixie Hollow - Fairy Garden. The Disney Master Gardeners have put in so many tiny details. It was a nice surprise when we discovered Tink and Terrance were available for a meet and greet (cause looking at the park map makes to much sense). Tink was in such a playful mood! She grabbed the girls, sat them down and asked them all about their day and wondered how Iridessa was able to paint such beautiful rainbow designs on their faces. If you were in line behind us that day - Sorry! Tink sure is one curious fairy.

Be sure to stop by Cynthia, Linda and Lisa's blogs to pick up some freebies. Natalie has a beautiful frame for you as well. Thank you for stopping by and spending part of your day with me!

Ray of Light Templates by Natalie

WOW! Time flies. Natalie has been super busy creating a FANTASTIC slew of mini-kits and templates all while in the midst of school starting and a pesky hurricane. I know, I am with you. I have no idea either. The first to be released is the Ray of Light Templates, Volume 1. I love that you can integrate any paper into the rays!

Here are a couple of layouts I did with these fantastic templates:

Yep, still working on our first cruise photobook. I used all of Natalie's products for these layouts.

Highly recommend, when you have a child that doesn't have a shy bone in his/her body, to bring a blow-up microphone to Disney's Hollywood Studios (available at a party supply store). NEVER a dull moment!

I hope you all are having a wonderful, safe Labor Day weekend! Stay tuned because there is MUCH more to come.
